Mitsubishi Ductless Heating & Cooling Systems
Energy efficient and environmentally friendly, Mitsubishi heat pump and mini split systems are ENERGY STAR® rated, high efficiency, electric home heating and air conditioning systems – all in one – without the need for ductwork.
Working with an inverter variable speed compressor, which automatically adjusts to the temperature control set and can keep up with outside temperatures as low as -13° F. This technology works to keep consistent indoor air temperatures controlled for an entire home, zoned area or in a single room.
A Mitsubishi Electric ductless heating & cooling system can lower your overall energy costs by as much as 50%, by reducing the amount of fossil fuel consumption.
How Mitsubishi Ductless Heat Pump / Mini Split Systems Work
Ductless heat pumps and ductless mini split systems alike are efficient home heating and cooling systems that do not require the use of ductwork.
Consisting of two main components; an indoor air handler and an outside condenser / compressor.
In cold weather, the outside air condenser works similarly to the back of a refrigerator, drawing energy from the outside (even in freezing temperatures) then transfers that energy inside the house with a refrigerant process through small approx. 3" piping which leads to the inside discrete wall mount fan and produces energy efficient heating. In warm weather the process reverses and the heat pump then becomes an air conditioning unit.
